Quite simply this is your first step in making your map to take on the Leaving Cert. Each one of you is taking on a challenge, for some the toughest set of exams you’ll ever have to do. However, instead of looking at it as a dreary slog, we’ll show you how the Leaving Cert is just another game. Once you understand the rules of the game, you become experts at playing it. We also turn the Leaving Cert from an individual slog to more of a shared experience. All of you are sitting in class with your mates but most of you are aiming for different grades. In addition, you are going to be in the same Leaving Cert marking bundle so they are in essence your direct competition.
However, through the community we will build online, you’ll have a chance to benefit from other students like yourself and also help others in a similar boat. You might be thinking that by giving notes and ideas to other students you’re hindering yourself but there’s a way to outsmart that Prisoners Dilemma and we’ll show you how. By joining TALS, you are doing more than just signing up for some generic notes and advice. You’re committing to adopting a new paradigm for looking at all the challenges you face in your life. The methods we use are not just effective for the Leaving Cert, we show you how to work from first principles in any other field also. At the end of the day though, you need to know how to control the LC so you are free to enjoy your last few years in school as much as possible. We will do this in the following ways. We will give you access to the best Leaving Cert past paper, making scheme and sample answer search engine in existence. You will be linked with 4 other students going for the same grade as yourself in a particular subject along with the same ideal college.
We will have a current college student helping your pod design your LC gameplan in order to get your points in the most time effective manner. However, the most important part that we will give to you is simply personable responsibility over the outcome of your Leaving Cert. You will no longer be left with any ambiguity or unnecessary stress about what it takes to get the grade you desire. The overwhelming cloud of doubt about what to do for study will be lifted. However, in its place is now the responsibility you have to yourself to live up to the potential goal you are aiming for. You are now the captain of your ship with a roadmap for how to get to your destination. We are simply the guide, it’s up to you to steer the vessel.
